• The Animal Clinic has been open since the early 1960's. Because of additional growth in clientele in the early 1970's a large addition was added to the clinic to better serve our patients. In 1973 the Oak Forest Animal Clinic was certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). In 1978 Dr. Craig Welbourne joined the staff at the Animal Clinic. Dr. C.D. Welbourne was soon to be the proud owner of the Oak Forest Animal Clinic. In 2003 Dr. Welbourne was proud to announce the addition of his son Dr. Ben Welbourne and his daughter-in-law Dr. Megan Hinkel-Welbourne. The Welbourne family is very pleased to be the caregivers of the animals of Oak Forest and surrounding community.
